The mission of the Embroiderers' Guild of America is to inspire passion for the needle arts through education and the celebration of its heritage. Our purpose is to practice, share, and learn the art of embroidery. We have an active program of education and study with a goal of preserving the heritage of the art.
The Green Bay Area Chapter is the place for you to form friendships with people who also love embroidery and will support you in your needle work projects. Membership is a great way for you to learn new techniques and improve the ones you already have.

What's Happening...
The Green Bay Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America celebrated Stitch in Public Day on February 1, 2025 stitching a public venue, the Mulva Cultural Center in DePere, WI. Fifteen Chapter members and friends stitched and had fun while we interacted with the public during the opening of "Unofficial Galaxies, one of the largest Star Wars fans collections in the world".
We gave away many brochures about our guild, demonstrated a variety of different stitching techniques and had a great time while we were doing it. We are hoping that some of the folks that visited with us and inquired about our stitching will be at one of our upcoming meetings.
